I’m a millennial leader, I’m a mom, I’m queer and I’m neurodivergent.

A few weeks back, the Vestas Leadership Forum 2022 kicked off in Copenhagen. As a conference to secure strategic alignment across regions and functions, the forum is also a key element to build the right leadership capabilities among our top leaders. This year, one of the main topics focused on diversity and inclusion and how our leaders can ensure that everyone feels safe and included. As part of this, Laurence Paquette, Vice President and Head of Marketing, took the floor to tell her story and show how even the smallest of efforts can support an inclusive culture. To allow our employees to be their whole true selves, also at work. At Vestas, diversity is not just okay. It’s welcomed.

This past year has been one of the most challenging periods of my life. Losing my best friend in a tragic accident 💔 and navigating a divorce 💔 forced me to reevaluate everything.
