🙌 Don't be nice, be kind!

Don't be nice, be kind
Don't be nice, be kind

Being nice and being kind are not the same. Don't be nice, be kind!

It's nice to be nice, but we should all aim to be kind!

Being nice means to please others, to act according to expectations and to censor yourself to spare other people's feelings. Being kind means to care about others, to be helpful, to have the courage to speak the truth in a compassionate way and to treat others and yourself well.

"Human kindness has never weakened the stamina or softened the fiber of a free people. A nation does not have to be cruel to be tough." -Franklin D. Roosevelt
