Today I heard the quote “We are not scared of starting. We are scared of being seen starting at the bottom.”
This quote left me thinking for quite a while throughout the day and I can’t deny that, at least for me, this is true. Being seen starting at the bottom is scary. I remember writing my first article on LinkedIn being petrified wondering what people would think of me publishing, without warning, my opinions and vulnerabilities on a social media platform. But I love to write and I have to start somewhere, don't I?
Being seen starting at the bottom is scary, but that’s the only real place to start.
